ASU’s School of Social Transformation, the first of its kind in the U.S., unites students and faculty across academic boundaries to strategically create social change that is democratic, inclusive and just.
As a student in our school you can study social justice across interdisciplinary fields including justice studies, human rights, ethnic studies, gender studies and social education. You’ll learn about the historical, cultural and social forces that shape our society. And you’ll become a real-world problem solver, prepared to be a champion for equality.
As a student in justice studies, women and gender studies, African and African American studies, Asian Pacific American studies, and social and cultural pedagogy you will get hands-on experience with faculty dedicated to social justice research and engaging with others in changing the world at a world-class research university.
