Visit: Planned Parenthood at Raiz Program

The Raiz Program is Planned Parenthood’s national effort to work with the latino community on fights for reproductive health, sex education, and access to care. The Raiz program began in 2014. Organizers have worked on voter registration, Medicaid expansion, immigration reform, and passed a comprehensive sex education reform.

Native Health currently provides a wide range of programs including primary medical, dental, WIC (available at three sites), health promotion and prevention, wellness programs and behavioral health programs. Native Health provides services to over 12,000 individuals per year, resulting in over 68,000 visits. Native Health has contracts, grants and fees for services for over $7.3 million dollars. Native Health is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is led by a Chief Executive Officer under the supervision of the Board of Directors.

Maricopa Medical Center ensures that health care is available to all area residents giving paying and non-paying patients’ access to top quality medical care.

MIHS is the health care safety net for citizens of Maricopa County. The health system serves people of many races and nationalities who come from diverse cultures and speak several different languages. Many of the patients face major challenges, such as lack of health insurance, complex medical problems, and difficult socioeconomic situations. Caring for these patients demands special knowledge and sensitivity.

Outpatient Clinic is a general outpatient counseling, nutrition and psychiatric services program that is specifically designed to meet the needs of our clients. We are here to help with a broad range of issues from depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral problems, addictions, family or relationship conflicts, and eating disorders. The purpose of the Rosewood Intensive Outpatient program is two fold:

  • To provide therapy for adults and adolescents who have an eating disorder diagnosis but do not meet the criteria for inpatient treatment.
  • To provide transitional support for adults and adolescents who have completed an inpatient eating disorder treatment program.
