The minor program in women and gender studies provides students with an intensive, transdisciplinary liberal arts education that enables them to write well, think critically and analyze problems effectively. Students complete a variety of courses, including an option for a capstone seminar requiring original research and writing or an internship which will prepare students for life after college. Original undergraduate research is encouraged and some course options may involve studying community problems and formulating policy solutions.
