Student Emergency Fund

The SST Student Emergency Fund was established to provide a one-time immediate financial assistance award to students involved in a catastrophic or emergency situation involving circumstances that are sudden, unexpected. Funded by donations from the SST community, the program is a small gesture in an overall University strategy to support the health and wellbeing of ASU students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor, masters or doctoral degree program in the School of Social Transformation.
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate).
  • Not be on academic probation of any kind.


To be considered for funding, students must complete the online application. The maximum award of these one-time funds is limited to $500. The amount of funds available to distribute can vary and is limited and not all requests will be funded.
